This delightful cottage in the Historic conservation village of Ceres, which is only seven miles from St Andrews. Ceres is ideally placed in the centre of North East Fife and provides an ideal base to explore and enjoy the best of what Fife has to offer. From the front door there are excellent footpaths and cycling or visit the Fife Folk Museum, only a 5-minute walk away. The National Trust Hill of Tarvit mansion house and gardens are only 1 mile from Ceres, and offer a unique golfing experience over a 9-hole course using traditional ˜hickery clubs or enjoy the multitude of fine golf courses close by, suitable for all abilities. The village has a good pub and a hotel serving food, two tea rooms, an antique shop, a family butchers, village store and the renowned Wemyss Ware Pottery. Ceres hosts Scotlands oldest free highland games, this is a week long programme of events culminating in the Highland games on the last Saturday in June.
